* 1) Pine Beetles and beetle kill is approaching epidemic level, if you look at what they have done to the western slope and areas like Grand County, it looks like a moon-scape!

Spraying has limited effect and questionable environmental impact. Thinning is the best choice.

Removing infected trees reduces the chance of infesting remaining trees and strengthens the remaining trees immune system by providing more water.  Not only dose it offer the best return on 'curb-appeal' it is a sound investment to protecting future value!

* 2) Fire Mitigation, thinning trees to reduce crown space not only reduces the chance of forest fires spreading from tree top to treetop , it also allows sunlight and water a chance to promote grasses and wildflowers , giving wildlife a better home.

It have been well documented that  Firefighters and Fire-bombers sometime can not save some homes without a defendable space, and will drop there retardant on something they can save. Only to return on there next trip to see the non-defended home in ashes.

Pathfinder Forest Service works with fire department personal, County, State and Federal planners to insure

* 3) Environmental Mitigation, With decades of fire suppression and the overgrowth of mature and dying trees. The natural cycle of healthy forest has been upset. Culling less then desirable trees and using the slash to control erosion, restoring and promoting 'natures own plan'. Healthy Forrest produce oxygen, Old growth, overgrowth, dead and dying trees waste water  while producing excessive Carbon (CO2).

Felling video, short, sweet, crank up the sound!

Let me, enchant your for forest.
